My husband got the stuffed oysters and panko shrimp. They were delicious! My son went for the burger and it was cooked perfectly. Would have been a 5 star but the seafood boil... was completely bland. I asked for extra old bay after it was served to me. They brought out some kind of seasoning but it was not old bay. It almost tasted like the BBQ powder seasoning No flavor or spice at all! Overall The service was great, and We loved the water views.

Food and service were fantastic! Excellent selection. Something for everyone. Will definitely come again.

This is one of the busiest, biggest waterside/dock restaurants in the area and the food is definitely a cut above the overwhelming majority of competitors. This is a really busy place and the only reason I'm not rating 5-stars is that the food, while fresh and properly prepared, is not very flavorful (i.e. - limited to no seasoning). I get that they are serving primarily snowbirds and people from the upper Midwest and potentially Canadians so if that's you? You'll love the food. The actual food items we received (seafood boil, ceviche) contained fresh, well-prepared ingredients. Just for my/our taste ... limited flavor and seasoning. At Pop's, you're paying also for the atmosphere and venue. There are two music/bar areas, one upstairs, one down. There's a big gift shop and many seating areas to handle parties of all sizes and three bars. Prices are reasonable and on a par with others in the area and the busy, hardworking staff will help you under all circumstances. Bathrooms clean, wait staff hardworking and professional ... a very great example of our SW Florida waterside restaurants, docks, and grills with entertainment and fun.

Food was fabulous as well as the atmosphere! Also it is fun to visit the gift shop, they have great stuff.

Let us tell you something we know...pop goes the weasel, and the weasel goes to Pop's Sunset Grill. Don't know what we mean by that? Pfff....you rookies need to get down there. The fish and chips are as good as the vibe. Service was slow, but it was busy. Oysters we're on the menu - we won't rehash that whole thing - but this place has a lot of positives, too. Snap, crackle....simple math.

What a wonderful place to eat! We loved the breakfasts, and enjoyed the live music during Sunday Brunch. That staff were friendly, and our seats overlooking the water were perfect.

We stopped at Pop's with some friends for lunch. Most seating is covered outdoors with nice water views. Known for their seafood, that is exactly what we ordered. When in Florida I cannot get enough grouper. My grouper sandwich ordered blackened and was perfectly cooked. My wife also ordered grouper grilled. We both loved our lunches. In our month's stay, we probably had grouper another dozen times either for lunch as a sandwich or as a dinner as we ended up on the Atlantic side of Florida. Can't get enough of this wonderful fish. Pop's looks like a lot of fun offering music and a really complete menu. Service was excellent as well.

By far the best restaurant on the west coast of Florida. Make it a point to visit several times when here, each year. Breakfast, lunch, dinner...all of the food is above expectations. Service is outstanding, served timely and with a wonderful attitude, and nothing beats the tiki bar, bands, and ambiance each day! Can't wait to come back!

What a fun, buzzing atmosphere, even though the weather is cold and the shades were pulled. The DJ was playing good dance music, the bar busy, and people looked happy. 5 stars for atmosphere. Hubby and I started with the blackened salmon bites appetizer. These were tasty especially with the dill scallion aioli. We shared the fresh catch which was grouper and had it prepared Mediterranean style. The fish was a tad overcooked, making it a little dry. The sides, coconut rice and caramelized Brussels were excellent. 4 stars for the food. Service was friendly and attentive. 5 stars for service.
